You have a dream. It's big, it's audacious, and it's precious. 

That idea needs energy and momentum to grow. Talking about it is one of the best ways to do that. 

AND the first person you tell is the most important. They should: 

- give you space

- listen eagerly

- cheer you on no matter what

If you think the people closest to you will lovingly respond with a lot of 'but' and not enough 'and' then don't tell them first. 

If you aren't sure who to tell, then perhaps that person can be me.
