Because when you feel your best, you can better you, your family, and the wider world. Let's do this.
/Hello. Hello. You incredible woman. You, I am excited to introduce you to a brand new mini series that [00:01:00] we're going to be doing over the next few episodes of this podcast entitled unlocking you a self coaching series. Cause I've been reflecting over the last few weeks especially about what this podcast is and how it helps me, how it fits in with.
What I can most give to the world and what the, what you as women, as people who mother the earth and the humans need most. And how do I add those two things together? In the end, it comes down to curiosity. Curiosity is the power tool of coaching, and is what I give best to the world. So, I love the interviews that we do on this podcast, and I love getting on here and sharing tools and information with you.
But this idea of giving you the tools for [00:02:00] coaching is super exciting to me. And therefore, this is for you. This is what I've created, or am in the midst of creating. This is for you if you've ever felt stuck, which we all have, let's be honest, feeling overwhelmed. Or you just really can't figure out what's next for you.
This self coaching series is exactly what can launch you on the right path within that. So over the next few episodes, I'll guide you through simple but powerful coaching tools to help you step out of feeling stuck and into a space of clarity, possibility, and action. But before we dive in Let's start with a really important question.
What the heck is coaching, and how does it help you shift from feeling stuck to seeing new possibilities? So I am a positive psychology coach, [00:03:00] and that's where all these tools and things that we've been sharing come from, the positive psychology side. However, coaching in its essence is about helping you go from narrow, where you're feeling stuck and And zoomed in to broad.
So when we feel stuck, our minds naturally zoom in on what is not working. We focus on the problems, the limitations, or the feeling that we have no options. Coaching however, helps you zoom out. It expands your perspective, making space for new ways of thinking, fresh ideas and different paths forward. So think of it like this.
Imagine you're inside of a maze, standing at a dead end. You're looking around and you, all you can see is walls. Right? You have a limited view. Well, coaching helps you rise above the maze, so you [00:04:00] can get the whole layout, like a bird's eye view. And suddenly, new paths appear. You can see more. You can feel the possibility.
Or picture being too close to a painting, so close that you, all you see are the messy brush strokes, but when you step back, you see the whole masterpiece. This is what coaching does. It helps you shift your focus from the obstacles that are in front of you to the possibilities that exist beyond them.
Pretty cool, right? So coaching's about asking questions, the right questions, big, powerful questions. A coach isn't someone who gives you the answers, although there are people out there claiming to be a coach who do. Instead, they ask the questions that help you uncover your own answers. They don't tell you which road or path to take.
They help you see the map more clearly. [00:05:00] And so that's what I do in my coaching sessions, whether they be group or one to one. And I got to this point where I'm like, those powerful coaching questions can be accessible to everybody. What if, what if they are accessible to you right here on the podcast completely free to do some self coaching?
It's not a replacement for therapy or even a coach live, but sometimes self coaching can bring up These deeper emotions or wounds or traumas from the past and we need a therapist. Please go, if you do these, go and find one. I have one and there's absolutely no shame in it. And we all have work to do from our past to best step into our present.
It's, this series is not meant to replace the deep healing work or one to one coaching. But it is a powerful starting point. [00:06:00] The act of self reflection, of being able to step above and see possibility. You can get yourself unstuck. Self coaching helps you develop clarity and self trust. So by learning to pause and reflect and ask yourself the right questions, you become more aware of your thoughts, your patterns, and your choices.
And that helps you from feeling stuck to opening up from, I don't know what to do. Oh, here's what I want to explore next. And mostly this is the most accessible form of coaching. You don't have to pay me the big bucks to get these questions. It's totally free on this podcast. And I kind of think that's how it should be.
Self coaching is such a powerful tool and I want to give it to you. Not everyone has access to a coach right now, and that's okay. [00:07:00] The series will give you the strong foundation to start with, helping you create more space for noticing, questioning, and stepping into possibility. Okay, so what's the series gonna look like?
Each episode is going to be short and focused. It's gonna guide you through one coaching question or theme at a time. You don't need to have a journal, but I like it. And if that's you, I have one for you too. Write things down. That can be super powerful. Doodle. Expand your, like, let your creative genius come out.
And explore what you're feeling and thinking. But if you're driving or walking or in the middle of a busy day, like I often am when I'm listening to these things, just listen. And let the questions settle in. You can always return to the episode later. But you know what? Our brains are so curious. And if we give them questions, they start to [00:08:00] solve the answers.
They start to figure them out. So simply listening to them. is a step in and of itself. So our first episode is going to be what every coaching session starts with, which is checking in with where you're at. So we'll begin with the very first step in any coaching journey, like I said, getting honest about where you're at right now.
Because before we can move forward, we need to know where we're standing.
So in closing, I am so stinking excited to introduce you to this series. I do hope it lands with you. The more we ask ourselves the right questions, The more we open up to what's possible. And isn't that what this is all about? Seeing possibility? You have such possibility and I can see it. [00:09:00] I don't even know you yet, for some of you, and I can see what's possible if we get out there.
In and of our full and complete selves, and step into our possibilities. So, if you're ready, join me in the next episode, and we'll start with a very simple but powerful check in to see where you're at today. Let's get started.
